A while ago, I had to search for bird control and removal services, because there was a large bird that would hang around my backyard. When my kids would play outside, this bird would swoop down and come close to their heads. There were some near misses where it looked like the bird was going to peck or scratch the kids. Fearing for the safety of my children, I went online to find the right company to get rid of the bird.
Although I wanted the bird gone, I didn’t want any harm to come to it in the process. This is why I didn’t try to hit the bird with a broom, or try to shoot the bird. One of my neighbors volunteered to kill the bird and cook it up for dinner one day, but I declined. To be honest, I used to think he was a bit weird, but after that suggestion, I think he’s insane. There’s no telling what other animals that guy has been killing and eating for dinner. Birds have just as much right to be on this planet as everyone else, they just shouldn’t come into my territory or put the lives of my children in danger
Once I found a company to come to my home and take care of the bird, I scheduled their services. They arrived and trapped the bird in what seemed like minutes. The bird just came right to their trap and was easily caught. They found where the bird was making it’s home on my property. The company promised me that they would release the bird into the wild far away from my home so that it could live out the rest of its days in peace, and wouldn’t come back to bother me or my children again.
